“On the Shores of this Western Paradise” Bayside Cottage is a traditionally styled home with thatched roof and whitewashed walls. The charming, ‘real-world’ escape is situated on the shores of the majestic Cashel Bay, directly located on the Wild Atlantic Way in the heart of Connemara.
A stones throw from the shores of the sheltered bay, this property offers unrivalled views. It is the perfect location to enjoy all that Connemara has to offer including hill-walking, hiking, beaches, fishing, golf and horse riding. Take full advantage of this stunning location and visit all of the wonderful attractions nearby, or sit back, relax, and enjoy the breathtaking views and spectacular sunsets over Cashel Bay.
While the home is pet friendly please check with us before arrival. As animal lovers, we welcome your four-legged friends. They are more then welcome to enjoy the garden, although we do ask that you supervise your dog when they are out and about, and that you respect the grounds and other people that enjoy them by using a pooper scooper when necessary. And, because we appreciate that not all of our guests may be animal lovers like us, we ask that you don’t let your dog roam around the neighborhood. We prefer that dogs should not be left unattended in the cottage.

So cosy and fine interior design. A great house. A great helpful neighbor and a view to die for. Do not tell too many people about this place… It’s beauty is in it’s solitude and ever changing views. Simply perfect and beautiful in every way.
The view, the view, the view! You could sit and watch the light changing in the bay all day. Gorgeous house, lots of space and very tastefully decorated. We had a great stay, two adults, two kids and our Labrador. Very comfortable, well equipped and ideal for exploring Connemara.
Bayside Cottage is in one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland – Connemara. The Cottage is well finished with a traditional Irish thatched roof. The accommodation is superb, the views spectacular. Waken up each morning to views of Cashel Bay and Bertraghboy Bay out your bedroom/living room/kitchen windows.
It’s a marvelous cottage well located with an amazing view on the sea. The cottage is very comfortable, welcoming and you feel very quiet and peaceful inside. Thanks a lot to Eva for this place that made a really perfect trip in Connemara.
We had a fabulous time – we were a family group of three generations and everyone enjoyed their stay in this fantastic house. The views from the expansive windows and deck are just stunning. We all loved watching the wildlife and had a BBQ one of the evenings.
