Soya and Buddy are Basset Hounds. Soya, originally from Cork, now lives in Galway and when she was younger her ears were so long that she used to stand on them and trip over them whenever she tried to run. She would just about do anything for food. Which leads nicely onto her loyal partner Buddy. Buddy is a bit older but it's hard to tell exactly how much older because he was picked up by Meath County Council in 2008 roaming the streets. Buddy is an adoring and very sweet dog and would do anything just to be rubbed.

They are so cute and I love Basset Hounds.

Buddy, like his mate Soya, spends most of the day searching for his next bit of food! They both like to eat grass and fruit from time to time and surprisingly enough for Bassets they love to run around the garden for endless hours on end. Needless to say, they are very talented sleepers and snore loudly :)
