ShilohShiloh is settling in well to our family as you can see from the photos below. Our beautiful whippet Lucy was stolen on the 1st August 2010 from Balheary, Swords, Co. Dublin and although the search for her will continue, we adopted Shiloh from Drogheda Animal Rescue. He was born sometime in 2009 and he's very lively and loves to run on the beach chasing the birds. Shiloh is great on the lead and he loves going places in the car. He also loves chasing my cats, which is good fun for Shiloh, but not so much fun for the cats!

Shiloh is a very handsome boy indeed and blessed to have found a home with such a great family. Your continued search for Lucy is a testament to your love and commitment to your pets. I hope you all live happily ever after and that Lucy, wherever she is, is safe and warm and maybe one day she'll come home too x.

Naomi and the family really deserve the happiness that Shiloh brings to their home after the devastating aftermath of Lucy being stolen from them. It is wonderful that people recognise the pleasure that giving a dog a second chance at a loving home can bring. I just hope stories like this encourage more people to rescue and stop supporting commercial breeding.

The main thing that Shiloh loves though is children. He comes on the school run with me every day and loves all the attention that he gets from the kids at the gates. He's a happy chappy to say the least. So many thanks to Lisa from Drogheda Animal Rescue and Corina who helped us go through with his adoption. We still hope Lucy turns up and is safe wherever she is and that whoever has her is minding her. Please visit Lucy's facebook page for more information...
