Scamp and Pete are both rescue dogs. We got Scamp in March '09 from Kerry County Council Animal Shelter. He was just 3 months old and had been found dumped by the side of the road. For me it was love at first sight and when we brought Scamp home he quickly proceeded to completely take over our lives! We got Pete in March 2010 from an adoption day that was run by the KSPCA. He was such a beautiful puppy and we just couldn't leave him behind. He was full of confidence from day one and settled in immediately.
Scamp loves chewing (shoes, furniture, money, etc.), walks on the beach and though he'd never admit it, playing with Pete. His absolute favourite pastime is going off in the van with his dad to the farm. Scamp wasn't too fond of the idea of another dog (let alone one that swings of his ears after he has had a hard day at the farm) but he is coming round slowly but surely.

Pete is a real Mommy's boy who loves nothing more than a decent cuddle. He is getting bigger by the day but has no concept of his size and is constantly knocking things over with his bottom or tail. Pete's favourite things include chewing, sleeping, licking, cuddles, playing with Scamp and walks on the beach. So those are our boys, they have taken over our lives, our sitting room, our bed, our conversations and our social lives but they are totally worth it!
