Ruby is a Staffie Cross who was born in 2003. She is Honey's adopted sister. Honey (Cocker Spaniel Labrador mix) has had many fosters in and out of her life over the years but it is Ruby that she has chosen as her very own sister. Even though they don't play together as such they are very content in each other's company. They go everywhere together and are always side by side lazing around in the sun, waiting for their food in the kitchen, out bounding through the woods, swimming laps in the river and sometimes on my bed!

Ruby was rescued from a terrible life in a dark shed with her pups and about 20 other dogs. She had mange and with no hair around her eyes at all she was a haunting sight, yet still full of love and trust. She is a very healthy happy girl now who spends her day lounging with her best pal.
