Murphy is a Spaniel Retriever CrossMurphy is a Spaniel Retriever Cross who we think was born sometime in late 2008. He was found wandering around the streets and was very neglected and underweight. He had thick matted hair which caused him a great deal of pain. Murphy loves to love and be loved. He adores his big brother Shadow and follows him everywhere. Murphy has come on leaps and bounds but he is still very unsure and nervous of the world, and probably with good reason. As long as he has his big brother Shadow though he will not be scared!

That is a very moving story with a very happy ending thankfully. How adorable this little guy must be... he looks to have the best life he could never have dreamed of. I know he knows how lucky he is.

Aww he nearly ended up with me - himself and Shadow look like the best of friends though so all's well in the end! Actually, I ended up getting a rescue dog who is a Retriever Spaniel too. Freddie is not much different to Murphy - funny how things work out! Anyway Murphy is gorgeous and looks happy out - great to see!
