Marley the Golden Retriever is thankfully best friends with Sean the cat (but he will bark at every other cat). He likes smelly socks, swimming and playing in the forest. Marley is a very friendly dog and becomes friends straight away with every other dog that he meets. After a long hard day he has very active dreams and he yelps, barks and growls in his sleep. He sleeps at the top of the stairs to guard against intruders, who would be licked to death! When he has his teeth checked he sticks his tongue out and tries to hide them.

What a handsome little man you have there! He really is gorgeous!

He is a beauty! I love the pic of him chilling on the couch! I just put my pics of our golden up on this site as well (Sasha). They are such lovely pets!

He looks just like Marley in the film Marley and Me. I love his toy Spongebob.

Marley likes to enter (and win!) the dog competitions at the Athlone Show and most recently has won the Retriever Class and Best Groomed. He also came 4th in Best in Show. The picture below shows him with some of his rosettes and prizes.
