Maria is an award winning newborn photographer, baby photographer, family photographer and pet photographer based in High Street, Kilkenny. Maria is a qualified member of the Irish Professional Photographers Association and achieved the Associateship Qualification in 2010. The business was established as Oliver of Kilkenny in 1966 by Oliver Dunphy, Maria's Father.
Maria joined her parents Oliver and Noeline in the family business Oliver of Kilkenny in 1988. Her passion for photography is inherited from her parents and indeed her grandmother Eileen who all worked as photographers in the studio established by Oliver in 1966.
She has worked to develop her own unique style deciding to specialise in the art of portraiture. Her work has been recognised through the many awards she has received, including Winner Best Pet Portrait Portfolio IPPA 2011.
Maria's love for her profession is evident in the images she creates, whether its a tiny baby only 5 days old, a family group or your four-legged friend she strives to capture a moment in time for her clients to remember forever.
