Heidi is a Jack Russell and Hollie is a BoxerHeidi and Hollie are a Jack Russell and a Boxer. Hollie is the boxer and was born in 2003. She is a real lady, is so cute and adorable and of course loves play and cuddles. She gets jealous if the other dogs get cuddles before her! Heidi is Hollie's partner in crime and loves to play with Millie, who is our other boxer. Heidi was born in 2006 and is a typical Jack Russell. Heidi's favourite place to 'chill' is perched on Hollie's back (see picture). The three of them are like the three musketeers and they are always up to mischief!

Aw wow - what fantastic dogs. Its great they are such good friends. I'm thinking of getting a Jack Russell as a friend for my Molly.

You are so right there Deirdre, the Jack rules the house!! If she's in a comfy spot chilling and one of the others try to do so anywhere near her or pass her the teeth are stripped!! Gal's got attitude that's for sure!! Bob was a dote. We have so many memories of him. As you said he'd had a long happy life and we'd always said we wouldn't let him suffer. He's probably having a great time now chasing things n all! So true time with them goes so quick.

Heidi, Holly & Millie look like great pals. Bet Heidi thinks she's in charge;Jacks always do and they are. So sorry to hear about Bobby. He looked like an old sweetheart. We're sure you miss him lots but what a wonderful age. You cared for him so well obviously. Enjoy the three musketeers as much as you can. The time with them goes so quickly.

Hollie broke her hind leg when she was 10 months old and had to have external bars fitted. Vetcare did a great job and though it took months to recover she's perfect now. She's got a mild heart murmur and doesn't really like change!! She's the lady of the house and don't we know it! The middle picture below is Heidi and Hollie's friend Millie catching flies!

Hollie is a master of robbing off the worktop, while innocent Heidi lies in wait for the proceeds of crime to land on the floor! As for smoke alarms... we don't need them, both boxers HATE ciggie smoke and we all know when someone has lit up because both of them go bonkers, with their 'special smoking bark'!

Also a special mention for the old man of the house, Bobby, who was sadly PTS in February 2009 after a serious stroke. He was 13.5 years old and was with us through all the ups and downs in life - the runt of the litter who was my present for doing well in the Junior Cert!! He brought us nothing but joy. Run free at the Rainbow Bridge 'old man'.
