Diesel is a Greyhound Whippet Lurcher Cross who we adopted in 2007 from the GSPCA sanctuary in Killimor, Co. Galway. He was rescued when he was 6 months old and lived at the sanctuary for about a year. A common myth with this type of breed is that they need lots and lots of exercise. He does get a daily walk and a run in the bog now and again but he also LOVES his sleep (sometimes upside down as you can see in the picture below). He is a great dog, is very affectionate and we are delighted to have him with us.

Haha, that is exactly how Archie sleeps, on his back with all four legs in the air, they have no shame do they?!!

Hi, lovely to see Diesel. He looks like he really loves his life with you. We have 2 whippets and 3 greyhounds (one being George who's blind) + an assortment of other rescue dogs. Don't they just love their comfort. George sleeps on his back all the time and on a day like today with heavy rain we won't get them out the door! Maybe Diesel would love a companion. We find it's so easy to walk ours as they just follow each other and play together all day. Happy Days with Diesel.
