Great Places to Bring Dogs in Laois
Dunmore Wood, Durrow - Recommended by Debbie Kearney & Shadow and Murphy
Dunmore Woods in Durrow, Co. Laois is great. Plenty of different routes and lots of streams for the doggies to take a dip in. It is very dog friendly and chances are the dogs will meet some furry friends on their way. You can let them run free off the lead. It is great. I've attached a couple of pics of Shadow and Murphy enjoying a dip. The pics do not do the woods justice though. There is some work going on there at the moment so some paths are closed but you would still get a few miles out of it. It is great for picnics too.
