We adopted Biggie from Dogs in Distress in 2010. Having never had a large dog before (only Jack Russell Terriers and Yorkies) it took some getting used to but we're so happy with him. He's very clever and so beautiful and we are always laughing at his antics. His hobbies are trying to get as many cuddles as possible, taking over the couch, chasing squirrels and birds, and keeping us on our feet by being able to open doors. They really are a wonderful breed and are very loving and high energy, which we're just getting used too :)

I use to have a red setter as a child. Had her for 14 years. Such loyal dogs. Biggie is a fab.

Congrats on your new beautiful family addition. Biggie is absolutely gorgeous. I also adopted an Irish Setter, Bailey, about 18 months ago from the Pound. They are such a fantastic breed. I have never come across any dog breed that is that affectionate. All Bailey wants is cuddles and then plenty of walks! I hope you enjoy Biggie for many many years to come!

What a beauty. I'm so glad he has a good home now. Word of advice - NEVER let ANY ONE CLIP him... especially his ears, it will ruin his lovely coat.
